June 5, 2004 - Message From The Band
A message to Static-X fans who came out to the Download Festival June 5th:
We would like to send out a sincere apology for not being able to make the Download Festival today. We are stranded in the German countryside as our bus broke down late last night. We left the Rock Am Park Festival yesterday early, missing Judas Priest's set because of the long drive to the UK. For 12 hours we were stuck in the bus along the side of a highway. Finally catching a ride to a local hotel in the middle of nowhere: Dernbach, Germany. For all our UK fans, we would like to express how bummed out we are at not being able to take the stage today. It's a horrible feeling and the only consolation is that we will be in the UK for 2 shows later this month:

January 16, 2004 - Tripp and Wayne Custom Guitars Coming Soon
JANUARY 15, 2004. CINCINNATI, OH - Known as the premier guitar brand for Metal music players, B.C. Rich is teaming up with Tripp Eisen to produce a new guitar package for retailers. The Tripp Eisen Signature Special Wave Guitar pack will be introduced at the Anaheim NAMM show.

Tripp plays a variety of B.C. Rich guitars, ranging from Custom Shop models to see-through Acrylic Series instruments, but predominantly plays the company's Wave model and has several of them in his touring and recording arsenal. The new guitar pack marks the first time that the stylish Wave shape has been built outside of the B.C. Rich Custom Shop for standard production.

The instrument has several unique features including a Gun Metal Gray body finish; a paint-to-match neck and headstock; a 3-to-a-side tuners/headstock design; Tripp's signature silk-screened on the back of the headstock; the word "HAIL" engraved in the truss rod cover; and the Static-X logo inlayed on the neck's 12th fret. Other features include a Hard Maple neck; 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard; Mahogany body; Black hardware; Tune-O-Matic-style bridge; and two EMG-HZ pickups.

Wayne & Tripp will be special guests this Saturday, 9/20 on MTV2 Headbanger's Ball where the WORLD PREMIERE of the video for "The Only" will air.  They just filmed the video last week. Thanks to all the fans that turned out on short notice to make this a great & memorable experience!! ALSO--Regular HBB host Jamey from Hatebreed is going out on tour so Wayne will be hosting the show on 9/27 and 10/4. Static-X will also be appearing on Uranium (FUSE) and several other television shows in October & November; details to come.
